Heading for a wonderful weekend!
Weekends are particularly wonderful to me as I get to spend time with my friends and family. This weekend my friends and I are getting together to create even more terrific pieces of clothing. Then later that evening my terrific husband and I are headed to Wyoming with some neighbors for a birthday party.
Our little neighbor, Courtney will be 5 years old and she has invited us to the family ranch to enjoy the winter (i.e. freezing cold/sub-zero) activities. Most guests will be enjoying sledding, ice fishing, snowball fights...me I can be found in front of the fire in the Lodge sewing arms and legs on sock monkeys!!
Having lived in Wyoming for a number of years I appreciate the weather there...snow blows sideways, you don't see pavement for at least three months out of the year (roads are packed with snow and ice), and when you are traveling make sure you have a survival kit in the trunk that includes a shovel to dig yourself out in case you slide off the road! However, Wyoming has a number of redeeming qualities. The scenery, historical sites, hunting, fishing, and tranquility.
My favorite quality Wyoming has to offer is it's residents. I have lived in a number of states and NEVER have I met more wonderful people than the ones in Wyoming...they are kind, caring, and go the extra mile in their community and their homes.
If you have never visited Wyoming it is a great place to vacation! Have a wonderful weekend!

Open for Business
Hi I just want to introduce my new business adventure. First let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Meg and I have been sewing for 44 years. I have always loved to sew. I love to create fun and innovative quality products. Teaching sewing is one of the most gratifying things I have done in my life. My students have won many awards and blue ribbons! Teaching for 28 years has given me a solid skill base that I would love to pass on to the next generation.
Ok now time for the introduction of my new business!! Kaotic Originals was created in 1986. The name was chosen based on my life at the time. I have 5 children so life at that time was really Kaotic. I have kept my business going over the years through teaching and selling my clothing line. So I guess I am more just adding some new products and updating my clothing line to meet the needs and styles of today's consumer.
Sewing lessons are a wonderful way to be creative and learn a skill that will last a lifetime. Sewing lessons will start the first week in February, I am taking applications at this time so sign-up fast as the classes fill-up quickly. Recently a friend and I put our creative minds together and came up with a terrific and stylish skirt. They will come in all sizes including maternity and plus sizes for adults and children.
Our website will be updated with pictures of our new clothing line very soon. We offer innovative and original designs. Stay in touch as I will be posting more about my products and services. If you have any questions please contact me at kaoticoriginals@gmail.com.
